2026–2027'de Evlilik İçin En İyi Muhurta

Ders 12 Derinlemesine İnceleme

In Vedic tradition, choosing the right muhurta (auspicious time) for marriage is as important as choosing the right partner. The belief is that the planetary configuration at the moment of the wedding ceremony influences the marriage's success, harmony, and longevity.

The Five Factors (Panchang) for Wedding Muhurta

Every muhurta analysis begins with the Panchang — the five-fold assessment of time:

1. Tithi (Lunar Day)

Favorable: 2nd (Dwitiya), 3rd (Tritiya), 5th (Panchami), 7th (Saptami), 10th (Dashami), 11th (Ekadashi), 13th (Trayodashi) — both Shukla (waxing) and Krishna (waning) Paksha.

Avoid: Amavasya (new moon), Purnima (full moon in some traditions), 4th, 9th, and 14th Tithis (Rikta Tithis — considered empty).

2. Nakshatra (Lunar Mansion)

Most auspicious for marriage:

NakshatraRuling PlanetQuality
RohiniMoonGrowth, fertility, beauty
Mrigashira (first half)MarsGentle, searching, curious
MaghaKetuRoyal, ancestral blessings
Uttara PhalguniSunPatronage, friendship — the "marriage star"
HastaMoonSkillful, creative, nurturing
SwatiRahuIndependence within partnership
AnuradhaSaturnDevotion, loyalty, commitment
UttarashadaSunUniversal, victorious
ShravanaMoonListening, learning, connection
RevatiMercuryNurturing, prosperous, journey's end

3. Yoga (Luni-Solar Combination)

Favorable: Siddhi, Amrit, Saubhagya, Shobhana, Sukarma, Dhriti, Harshana, Vriddhi.

Avoid: Vishkumbha, Atiganda, Shoola, Vyaghata, Vajra, Vyatipata, Parigha, Vaidhriti.

4. Karana (Half Tithi)

Favorable: Bava, Balava, Kaulava, Taitila, Garija. Avoid: Vishti (Bhadra) Karana — considered highly inauspicious.

5. Vara (Weekday)

Best days: Monday (Moon — domestic happiness), Wednesday (Mercury — communication), Thursday (Jupiter — wisdom, dharma), Friday (Venus — love, beauty).

Avoid: Tuesday (Mars — aggression) and Saturday (Saturn — delays). Sunday is acceptable.

Planetary Considerations for 2026–2027

Jupiter's Position

Jupiter, the great benefic, is the most important planet for marriage muhurta. In 2026, Jupiter transits through Cancer (its sign of exaltation) from mid-2026. This is an exceptionally favorable period for marriages — Jupiter exalted brings blessings of prosperity, wisdom, and growth to new unions.

Venus Combustion Periods (Avoid)

When Venus (the planet of love and marriage) is combust (too close to the Sun), marriage muhurtas should be avoided:

  • Check current Venus combustion dates on the Aijatak Panchang page
  • Typically Venus is combust for 2-3 weeks, twice per year

Mercury Retrograde (Exercise Caution)

While Mercury retrograde doesn't prohibit marriage, it can cause communication issues with vendors, invitations, and logistics. Many families prefer to avoid it for practical reasons.

Matching the Couple's Charts

Beyond Panchang analysis, the wedding muhurta should also consider:

  • Lagna at wedding time: The Ascendant during the ceremony should be auspicious — ideally a fixed sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) for stability, with benefics in kendras (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th houses)
  • 7th house: The marriage house in the muhurta chart should not be afflicted by malefics
  • Moon's position: Moon should be waxing (Shukla Paksha preferred) and in a favorable Nakshatra
  • Couple's Dasha: Both partners should be running compatible dasha periods — avoid antardasha of the 6th, 8th, or 12th lord
