Mi a Sade Sati? Hatások, időtartam és gyógymódok

Lecke 4 Oktatási

Sade Sati (literally "seven and a half") is one of the most talked-about transits in Vedic astrology. It occurs when Saturn (Shani) transits through the three signs centered around your natal Moon — the 12th house, 1st house, and 2nd house from your Moon sign.

Duration and Phases

Since Saturn takes approximately 2.5 years to transit each sign, the total duration is about 7.5 years:

  1. Rising Phase (12th from Moon): 2.5 years — financial pressure, anxiety, sleep issues, mental stress. The onset is often subtle.
  2. Peak Phase (over Moon): 2.5 years — the most intense phase. Health concerns, career challenges, emotional turmoil. Also the phase with the most growth potential.
  3. Setting Phase (2nd from Moon): 2.5 years — financial strain, family tensions, speech-related issues. Gradually eases.

Common Effects

  • Career changes or obstacles at work
  • Health issues (especially mental health during the peak phase)
  • Relationship strain
  • Financial challenges or unexpected expenses
  • Relocation or major life changes
  • Positive: Maturity, discipline, spiritual growth, clearing karmic debts

Remedies

  • Hanuman Chalisa: Recite on Saturdays for protection from Saturn's harsh effects
  • Shani Mantra: "Om Sham Shanaishcharaye Namah" — chant 108 times on Saturdays
  • Charity: Donate black sesame seeds, iron items, or dark blue/black cloth on Saturdays
  • Blue Sapphire (Neelam): Only if recommended by a qualified astrologer — this is a powerful gemstone that doesn't suit everyone
  • Til Oil Lamp: Light a sesame oil lamp every Saturday evening
